<----my favorite part...the kitchen!!Since being married for 3 yrs we have moved 4 times. We'd like to slow that pace down a bit... but of course we said that last time too!
8 months ago when we moved to our place in Pasadena life was a bit different. I was working at Huntington Hospital and we didn't have a baby on the way. Sure, we planned on having a baby within the next year or so but until its actually happening you don't think of anything except the number of bedrooms.
During the past few months we realized that while we had enough bedrooms for baby Ellery (and even 1 more if needed) things weren't perfect. Mostly, we began to realize that while Adam's commute was tolerable for us 2 young spring chickens who wanted to live wherever we wanted, it wouldn't be a great lifestyle with a baby. Also, ideally we wanted to have a lower cost of living to allow for some wiggle room for me to be a stay at home mom (with some home health work... but that will mostly be for extra cash).
All those things lead us to the decision to move to Rancho Cucamonga... but we had to move fast. Our lease was up in October which was a bad time to move.. so we had to move early. It took some orchestrating but it all turned out great and we are now settled in to our new place!!!
We love it so far... kind of surprised actually! The townhome is my favorite place yet (and cheapest yet!... okay except for our first apartment on Pleasant Street, but we've come a long way). The surrounding area has every store you can imagine and the shopping centers are very pretty. And you just can't beat having more hours and energy at the end of the work day.
